Delta Chi Tau, or is it Delta Tau Chi?

Our group has decided on "College Fraternities at Belmont University" as topic for the common project that will be worked on during our stay in Nashville. In preparation we will watch "National Lampoon's Animal House".

"We can do anything we want. We're college students! ...

... You know what we are gonna do? Toga party!"

These are lines from "Animal House" (1978), the King and starter of the gross-out genre. The film has become known as the archetypal fraternity film; for better or worse, it has promoted many stereotypes and formed a distinct image of fraternities in American culture. Decades after its release, Animal House still exerts a powerful influence on today's college students in the US. In addition, the film is notable for having introduced the toga party to popular college culture.
